	METRON ACCUSONIC 1 MHz Ultrasound The Metron Accusonic therapeutic ultrasound offers 1 MHz ultrasound through a detatchable applicator. Microprocessor technology has been used to make the Accusonic compact and easy to use. This technology has allowed a number of useful features to be presented in the Accusonic. For instance: - * If during the treatment, insufficient contact occurs, then the treatment timer will stop, and the ultrasound output is reduced . Once sufficient contact is detected, then treatment will continue. * The internal service software runs the calibration procedures, minmising the technicians involvement. * Communicates with the transducer to correctly monitor and control frequency and contact sensing. 	METRON ACCUSONIC 1/3MHz Ultrasound Accusonic Plus 1 & 3 MHz Ultrasound The Metron Accusonic Plus therapeutic ultrasound now offers 1 and 3 MHz from the one detachable applicator Microprocessor technology has been used to make the Accusonic Plus compact and easy to use. This technology has allowed a number of useful features to be presented in this machine. For instance: Up to 10 treatment programes can be stored in the Accusonic Plus, for quick and easy applications. An LED bar graph is used to display the amount of Ultrasound transmission occurring, this will assist the practitioner to monitor their own, or their staff's technique and correctly deliver the prescribed amount of ultrasound. Contact Control Function To detect poor acoustic coupling between ultrasonic treatment applicator and patient. At detection of contact loss the indicator on applicator illuminates red and after 1 second the treatment timer is halted, treatment time display flashes and ultrasonic output power is reduced. On contact detection the treatment timer is restarted and ultrasonic output power is restored to the selected value.
